2-Part Interactive Learning Webinar
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Any adult who is supporting themselves financially and wants to build a strong personal financial foundation to better start and run a business.
Having a sound understanding of your personal finances is essential as you embark on a new business. Once you understand budgeting and cash flow and how to present your financial position, you increase your chances of business success. It will also give you peace of mind.
During these two sessions, you will learn how to prepare a budget and to read and prepare your personal financial statement – both of which are necessary for any business plan or to apply for a bank loan.
This two-part webinar is a condensed version of the more in-depth five class “Money 101 – Foundation” segment that SCORE NYC offers.
These smaller interactive sessions will be limited to 15 to allow for questions and discussion. Participants must keep their video screens open to facilitate the give and take!
You will receive templates and worksheets to make financial planning easy.
ADDED BENEFIT: Your instructor can provide free private follow-up sessions to discuss your goals and get you on track for success.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
At the end of these 2 webinars, you will have the information and resources to:
- Apply the cash-in/cash-out technique to review income and expenses
- Prepare an annual budget
- Develop a Personal Financial Statement to determine your net worth and have critical information needed to apply for a bank loan
- Identify the factors that contribute toward your credit score and techniques to improve your score, sometimes in ways that may not be obvious
REGISTRATION for the sessions will close on December 12.
