Scott Friedman is a 30-year veteran of communications and journalism who recently founded The Lede Agency, a branding, corporate communications and public relations consultancy specializing in serving technology companies and organizations in other industries that use technology for disruption and competitive advantage.
Prior to founding The Lede Agency, Scott held senior executive positions with MSLGroup, Text100 and APCO Worldwide, supporting clients across industries including technology, healthcare, defense, energy, transportation and financial services.
Prior to his agency career, Scott worked as a reporter for various New York area daily newspapers, covering business, politics and police beats. He also wrote for leading technology trade publications. Scott not only volunteers for SCORE NYC as part of its marketing and public relations function, but is also receiving mentoring services in support of his new agency venture.
