With over thirty years of experience in accounting and investing, Weisberg has created a successful and diverse career participating in well-established sectors and emerging industries with strong financial fundamentals.
Graduating with a degree in Accounting from Michigan State University, Marc Weisberg worked as a Certified Public Accountant, later establishing his own accounting firm. After learning the essentials of investment banking in cable television, Weisberg then created his own advisory firm in the telecom, media and technology (TMT) industries. Later, he transferred into corporate development where he consummated over $50 billion in transactions as Executive Vice President of a major telecommunications company. In 2002, Weisberg continued to provide independent advisory service in the TMT sector, while pursuing his own investments. In 2009, Marc Weisberg was tapped to provide advisory services to Liberty Media where he orchestrated the sale of their CBS television stations, acquired a geolocation business for a Liberty subsidiary, and provided strategic and operational assistance for various company affiliates.
In 2013, Marc Weisberg partnered to acquire Source Media, which owns thirteen well-established media brands. After exiting the venture, Weisberg now focuses on a variety of investments in TMT, energy and emerging technologies including cyber security, oil & gas, app development and distilled spirits.
